Green Living
An eco "logical" approach to making a Kamado grill table.
KamadoCraft is pleased to offer renewable woods and finishing products as the only option for our Kamado gill tables. We also believe it's important to carry that attitude into our business and production processes as well-even if it costs a little more.
Eco-Friendly Wood
Beyond it's beauty, strength and natural ability to withstand the elements, Our Brazilian Walnut and Brazilian Cherry woods are protected and sustainable resources from managed forests. Learn more about the Superiority and Sustainability of Brazilian Hardwoods.
Eco-Friendly Finishing
The "green" option for protecting our grill tables is a specially formulated hardwood penetrating oil. The oil is extracted from renewable trees in managed forests. It gives the wood a protective coating that brings out the deep beauty of the complex wood grain. The oil also has advanced UV blockers and mildew resistance added.
Production Processes
Our grill table designs and production procedures focus on creating as little scrap material as possible. In fact, we are developing additional products that can be made from the scrap wood to prevent it from going to a land fill.
Business Practices
We use a recycling program for business items made from paper, glass and plastic. We also use post-consumer paper for our printed materials and post-consumer packaging for shipping our products.
