The KamadoCraft Name Kamado means, "place of the cauldron" and it's the name of 3000 year-old asian style of cooking in ceramic pots. It is one of the most efficient methods of cooking ever invented. We appreciate innovative and efficient products wherever they come from. Grills and smokers like Big Green Egg, Kamado Joe, Primo and Viking Grills are all based on this style of cooking. While the name "Kamado" is not american–we are. We added the name "Craft", because our Kamado grill tables are made with consistent innovation, a high degree of skill, attention to detail and quality materials. There is no substitute for time and effort when it comes to quality workmanship. Getting Back to Basics We're an American-based company located in the metro Atlanta, Georgia area. We're passionate about innovation, quality craftsmanship and reducing the environmental impact of our production line. Our grill tables are handmade in the United States and we purchase our materials from domestic vendors. Whenever possible we use domestic materials and hardware.
